About the Position

Sales Leaders at Kneipp retail stores are one of the most important roles in this newly emerging brand. You will be among the first group of Kneipp employees in the US, and are therefore responsible for creating and introducing the brand’s rich culture and heritage to the US consumer. As a Sales Leader, you will contribute to driving store and individual sales and sell with a focus on wellness and a balanced lifestyle. As such, you will enjoy a complimentary work-life balance that we believe is necessary to maintaining a productive and positive outlook. Sales Leader positions are Part Time or Full Time depending on the location of the store. As a Sales Leader, you will support the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager in meeting the store’s sales goals, maintaining the store’s housekeeping standards, and acting as a role model to the rest of the Kneipp team. You will provide an exceptional client experience, build lasting customer relationships, and reach/exceed sales goals. You will also introduce our clients to the 5 Pillars of our founder Sebastian Kneipp by demonstrating both our products and the water treatments he developed to promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

 

This position reports directly to the Store Manager, but should expect additional support and guidance from the Sales Leaders and Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a truly amazing customer service experience to all Kneipp clients. This will account for the majority of your time
  • Sales Leaders must be collaborative and team focused
  • Consistently strive to exceed sales goals and other expectations set by leadership
  • Excellent understanding of bath, body care, and skincare product information
  • Knowledge of and commitment to company mission, vision, and values especially Kneipp philosophy and 5 Pillars
  • Commitment to building customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction, hands-on product/water treatment demonstration
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for store products and services and ability to present to clients the efficacy and benefits of our products
  • Ability and desire to perform seated consultations for customers to determine their skincare, wellness, and gifting needs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership including, but not limited to: visual merchandising, cleaning, stocking shelves, maintaining organized back room and floor, processing shipments quickly and accurately, cashiering quickly and accurately

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store, performing all tasks to company standards
  • Enhance the clients’ experience through team-selling with Wellness Advisors/Experts and leadership
  • Maintain awareness of company expectations and current promotions and communicate these to the team
  • Train team on POS systems
  • Observe team member’s interactions with clients and each other and provide Store Manager with feedback to ensure an efficiently functioning store
  • Partner with Store Manager in areas of loss prevention, store cash controls, and inventory management
  • Take ownership for operations, high business standards, and quality of client experience in absence of Store Manager/ Assistant Store Manager

**Sales Leaders working in a Full Time vs. Part Time capacity may have additional responsibilities

Qualifications

 

Requirements/Skills Summary:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years in a highly focused selling culture
  • Superior ability and desire to deliver exceptional customer service experience, including excellent selling skills and phone service skills
  • Polished and professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about beauty, skincare, body care, or similar industries
  • Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers
  • Demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures
  • Team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning and coaching environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management
  • Experience in Cosmetics Sales and/or generating sales through a client book preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedule:       weekends, days/nights, holidays
