Overview

As a Wellness Expert at Kneipp, your primary focus is to build and maintain relationships with our clients in a dynamic sales environment.  You will ensure that the client’s experience is nothing less than amazing! Your strong selling abilities and keen understanding of bath, body, and beauty will make you an important part of the Kneipp family.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, demonstrating excellent customer service, building and maintaining a loyal client base, providing clients with the right products that fit their needs, calling clients for events, maintaining relationships, and providing the most unique and exciting shopping experience for our clients. You will also introduce our clients to the 5 pillars of our founder Sebastian Kneipp by demonstrating both our products and the water treatments he developed to promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

 

This position reports directly to the Store Manager, but should expect additional support and guidance from the Sales Leaders and Assistant Store Manager.

     

 

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a truly amazing customer experience to all Kneipp clients. This will account for the majority of your time
  • Wellness Experts must be collaborative and team focused
  • Consistently exceeds sales goals and other expectations set by leadership
  • Ranked among the top performers in the store
  • Excellent understanding of product information
  • Knowledge of and commitment to company mission, vision, and values and understanding of Kneipp philosophy and 5 pillars
  • Commitment to building customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction and hands-on product/water treatment demonstration
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for store products and services and ability to present to clients the efficacy and benefits of our products
  • Desire to perform seated consultations for customers to determine their skincare, wellness, and gifting needs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership including, but not limited to: visual merchandising, cleaning, stocking shelves, maintaining organized back room and floor, processing shipments quickly and accurately, cashiering quickly and accurately

 

Leadership Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the on-boarding and selling skills training of all new hires team members  

 

 

Requirements/Skills Summary:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years in a highly focused selling culture
  • Superior ability and desire to deliver exceptional customer experience, including excellent selling skills and phone service skills
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about beauty, skincare, body care, or similar industries
  • Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers
  • Demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude
  • Strong knowledge of beauty, skincare and cosmetics highly desireable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures
  • Team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning and coaching environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management
  • Experience in cosmetics sales, beauty, skincare, body care and /or bath industries preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedule: weekends, days/nights, holidays
